University Skating Club
Programs
Spring Season 2010
We'll be on the ice Wednesday and Sunday evenings at the Bill Bolton
Arena. The sessions are intended for both free skating and ice dancing
working on StarSkate tests.
Winter Session 2010
Join us Saturday and Sunday afternoons at Varsity
Arena for open sessions that include group lessons in basic skating
skills and advanced skills. Or join us Sunday for our social ice dance
session.
Guest Skating at USC
Spring
Season 2010

Please note:
- There
are no skill level restrictions on USC sessions,
but all of our sessions are intended for skaters 16 years of age and
older as
of April 18, 2010.
- Skaters will little or no skating
experience MUST wear a CSA-certified hockey helmet when they skate on a
USC session.

BY MAIL: Fill in the Application Form in the USC Spring Season 2010
brochure (PDF or MS

format) and mail it with payment by cheque to the
address included on the application form.
IN PERSON: Fill in the Application Form in the USC
Spring Season 2010 brochure (PDF or MS
Word
format) and bring it with payment by cheque or cash to
the on-duty board member:
- on or before Sunday, March 28 at Varsity Arena
during skating hours.
- on or after Sunday, April 18, at Bill Bolton Arena
during skating hours.
Wednesday
April 21, 2010 to June 9, 2010
Open Session from 8:30 to 9:30pm
Freeskate and ice dancing can be practiced.
Skaters of all levels are encouraged to contact one of the USC coaching
staff to arrange for lessons.
Fees: $100 (tax
included)
Sunday
April 18, 2010 to June 13, 2010*
NO SKATING Sunday May 23, 2010 during the Victoria Day weekend.
Open Session from 6:30 to 7:30pm
Freeskate and ice dancing can be practiced.
Skaters of all levels are encouraged to contact one of the USC coaching
staff to arrange for lessons.
Fees: $100
(tax included)
Guest
Skating with USC in the Spring
Guest skaters are
welcome on our
sessions, but skaters must be a current member of Skate Canada
and guest fees must be paid before guest skaters take the ice.
Guest fees for the Spring Season are $15
per session.

we near the end of the season, skaters who are not registered for a
session are welcome to guest skate with us.
Please note that skaters must be a current member of Skate Canada

1:30pm
Freeskate and ice dancing can be practiced.
Two levels of group lesson are offered during the
first 15
minutes:
- a basic skating skills lesson
- a stroking session for more advanced
skaters

Freeskate and ice dancing can be practiced.

This is a dance-only session.
Programmed music including dances at all
levels, from Preliminary to Diamond, will be played.

University Skating Club reserves the right to cancel or reschedule
sessions without notice.
